Description

If you're a caramel lover this is the dessert for you! Who knew you can make this heavenly goodness with just four ingredients you already have. Go on try it!

Ingredients
  • 7 eggs
  • 4 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
  1. 1

In a saucepan over low heat cook and stir 3/4 cups of the sugar until melted. Pour out into custard cups covering the bottom.

  2. 2

In a large bowl mix together the eggs, milk (you can warm it up a bit so the sugar dissolves easily), sugar, and vanilla extract. If you want a perfectly smooth custard strain the mixture. Pour it into the custard cups.

  3. 3

Place the cups in a baking pan. Fill the baking pan with water so it covers up half the cups.

  4. 4

Bake in a preheated oven at 300F/150C for an hour until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Add more water in the baking pan when needed. Make sure the water in the pan doesn't boil.

  5. 5

Remove the cups from the pan and let them cool. To unmold run a knife around the rims of the cups. Place a dessert plate on top of the cup and turn it upside down.

  6. 6

Serve cold or warm and enjoy!
