If you're a caramel lover this is the dessert for you! Who knew you can make this heavenly goodness with just four ingredients you already have. Go on try it!

  1. In a saucepan over low heat cook and stir 3/4 cups of the sugar until melted. Pour out into custard cups covering the bottom.

  2. In a large bowl mix together the eggs, milk (you can warm it up a bit so the sugar dissolves easily), sugar, and vanilla extract. If you want a perfectly smooth custard strain the mixture. Pour it into the custard cups.

  3. Place the cups in a baking pan. Fill the baking pan with water so it covers up half the cups.

  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 300F/150C for an hour until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Add more water in the baking pan when needed. Make sure the water in the pan doesn't boil.Β

  5. Remove the cups from the pan and let them cool. To unmold run a knife around the rims of the cups. Place a dessert plate on top of the cup and turn it upside down.

  6. Serve cold or warm and enjoy!
