Stuffed peppers are a delicious and nutritious meal that is easy to make. The filling can be customized with various herbs and spices, as well as cheese or other veggies. They are an excellent make-ahead meal, as they can be prepared in advance and reheated for a hearty dinner or tasty lunch. Stuffed peppers are a versatile and satisfying meal option, and can be enjoyed by the whole family.



  1. Hollow the peppers by cutting off the tops and scooping out the seeds. Sprinkle some salt inside them and arrange them top up in a baking dish.
  2. Dice the onion and carrot. You can also grate them or use a food processor.

  3. Heat up the oli in a large pan. Add in the onion and carrot. Cook until they soften then add the beef. Cook until the beef is browned.

  4. Add the canned tomatoes, rice, spices and a cup of water. Cook until the rice is almost fully done. Add more water if needed.

  5. Start stuffing the peppers using a small spoon. If you have any stuffing left put it around the peppers and add 1/2 cup of water to the baking dish.

  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 400F/200C for 30 minutes or until the peppers are tender.Β 

  7. Serve as is or try our stuffed peppers sauce and enjoy!
